Transformer and Switchgear Services provides maintenance, refurbishment, repair and modification services for transformers and switchgear, both on site and at our advanced, well-equipped workshop facilities in Rosherville, Johannesburg. This facility is unique in Africa capable to repair transformers ranging in capacity and voltage up to 920 MVA and 765 / 400kV. Transformer Works Services

Transformer Works Services include comprehensive refurbishment, overhauling, repairs and commissioning of transformers. These services are executed in our fully equipped Rosherville workshops, which feature several specialised facilities.

Transformer Site Services

• Transformer site services deploys technical expertise to the site of operation where investigations into plant failure or poor performance, advice on repair strategies and cost vs benefit analyses are performed in real time

• Switchgear site services handles all types of circuit-breakers, disconnectors and isolators, on both AC and DC equipment, of voltages from 11kV to 765kV and includes installation, removal, routine maintenance according to OEM specifications, refurbishment and repairs on site.

• Oil services includes sampling, storage, treatment, purification and regeneration of transformer oil. Transformer and Switchgear Services is accredited to remove, purify or dispose of PCB contaminated oil.
